Set up a 3D Analyte Colour Range

One of the display options on the 3D Transaction Viewer is by analyte quality.

This activity presumes that analyte definitions have been created. See Create an Analyte Definition.

Security Note: You need the Allow analyte maintenance security right in the Analyte user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Analyte Definition Editor.
  2. Select an analyte definition.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) for Colour Ranges.

    The Colour Ranges screen displays.

  4. Right-click in the table and select New from the menu.
  5. Update the following fields as required.
    • Name
    • Colour 1—Select from a palette of basic colours, preconfigured web colours and system (Windows) colours. In the palette of basic colours, right-click a colour in the bottom two rows to customise a colour with hue/saturation/luminosity or red/green/blue values.
    • Colour 2
    • Gradient—Whether the colour graduates from one colour to another, or is just a flat colour using Colour 1.
    • Min Value—Minimum value.
    • Include Minimum—Whether to include the minimum quality in the cut off to determine the colour profile of the section in the 3D stockpile.
    • Max Value—Maximum value.
    • Include Maximum—Whether to include the maximum quality in the cut off to determine the colour profile of the section in the 3D stockpile.
  6. Click Save.
