Associate a Sample with Transactions

This activity is only applicable to samples for a bulk transaction process flow.

If you create a sample via a transaction editor or despatch, the sample is already associated with at least one transaction. Use this activity if the sample needs to be associated with additional transactions; for example, across a shift.

Security Note: You need the Allow sample maintenance security right in the Samples security group for a domain assigned to the user group.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Sample.
2. Select the Transactions tab.
3. Uncheck Related Transactions Only.
4. Update the Start Date and End Date if required.
5. Click Refresh.

   Transactions across the same process flow as the sample and not already associated with a sample display.

6. Check Related for the required transactions.
7. Click Save.
