Set up a Plan Category
Production and demand plans must belong to a plan category or sub-category.
Security Note: You need the Allow planning maintenance security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
- Expand the Planning node.
- Perform one of the following steps:
- To set up a top-level plan category, right-click the Plan Categories node and select New » Plan Category from the menu.
- To set up a plan sub-category, right-click a plan category and select New » Plan Category from the menu.
- Update the name of the plan category node if required.
- Click Save.
