Specify Initial Stock for a Production and Demand Plan

Security Note: You need the Allow Planning Maintenance security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Plan.
2. Select the Planned Initial Stock tab.

   These amounts display in the first row on the Worksheet tab when the display option is set to Display Planned Only and the date range for the display includes the plan's start date.

   The sum of the applicable stock location amounts is also used on the Planned Customer Delivery tab for the opening inventory of the first month of the plan, if that month is in the future. If the plan's start date is in a past month or the current month, actual stock amounts are used on the Planned Customer Delivery tab.

3. Enter the Initial Stock for each location and product combination.
4. To clear the initial stock values for all locations and products:
   1. Right-click and select Clear All Initial Stock from the menu.

      A confirmation message displays.

   2. Click Yes.
5. Click Save.
