Configure Supply and Demand Plan Miscellaneous Settings

Security Note: You need the Allow Supply and Demand Plan Configuration security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the SD Plan Configuration screen.
  2. Select the Misc Settings tab.
  3. Complete the following fields.
    • Tonnage Mismatch Colour—Colour to highlight cells when the supply tonnage does not match the required tonnage. Select from a palette of basic colours, preconfigured web colours and system (Windows) colours. In the palette of basic colours, right-click a colour in the bottom two rows to customise a colour with hue/saturation/luminosity or red/green/blue values.
    • Demand Exceeds Stock Colour—Colour to highlight cells when the demand exceeds the stock available.
    • Negative Opening Stock Colour—Colour to highlight cells when the opening stocks are below zero for a product in a planning period.
    • Negative Opening Stock Text Colour—Colour to highlight the text when the opening stocks are below zero for a product in a planning period.
    • Display Shipment Contract Product—Whether to display the contract product associated with the shipment on the Whiteboard tab of the supply and demand plan.
    • Display Excel Export Menu Option—Whether to display the Excel Export right-click option on the Whiteboard tab of the supply and demand plan.
    • Frozen Column Count—Number of columns to freeze. Columns to the right of the frozen columns can be scrolled horizontally.
    • Date Format—Format for the display of dates on the supply and demand plan. When you enter a date format, a message indicates whether the format is a valid date format. If left blank, dates display using the Short Date Time Format as specified on the Options screen. Examples:
      • dd-MM-yyyy
      • dd-MM-yy
      • yyyy-MM-dd
    • Quantity Decimal Places—Number of decimal places for product quantities displayed on the SD Plan. If left blank, quantities display with the number of decimal places specified for tonnes in the Unit Conversion Editor.
    • Currency Decimal Places—Number of decimal places for currency values displayed on the SD Plan. If left blank, currency values display with the number of decimal places specified for the default currency in the Currency/Exchange Editor.
  4. Click Save.
