Set up an Equipment Group

An equipment item can exist as a member of multiple equipment groups.

Security Note: You need the Allow equipment maintenance security right in the Equipment domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
  2. Expand the Equipment node.
  3. Right-click the Equipment Groups node and select New » Equipment Group from the menu.
  4. Update the name of the equipment group node if required.
  5. Expand the Equipment » Equipment Categories node.
  6. Drag required equipment items onto the Equipment Group node.
  7. To reorder equipment items, right-click an equipment item and select Move First, Move Up, Move Down or Move Last from the menu as required.
  8. Click Save.
