Set up an Incident Category
Incident definitions must belong to an incident category or sub-category.
Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain incident definitions security right in the Base Data user group security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Open the Incident Definition Editor.
- Perform one of the following steps:
- To set up a top-level incident category, right-click the Incident Categories node and select New from the menu.
- To set up an incident sub-category, right-click an incident category and select New from the menu.
- Enter the Name of the incident category.
- Click Save.
