Set up a Train Schedule Definition

Security Note: You need the Allow train maintenance security right in the Trains domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Transport panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Trains » Train Schedule Definitions node.
3. Right-click a train schedule group and select New » Train Schedule Definition from the menu.

   The Train Schedule Definition (configuration) displays.

4. Update the name of the train schedule definition node if required.
5. Complete the following fields.
   • Time—Default time a train created from a train schedule set up using this train schedule definition is due to arrive at the first route point.
   • Day Of Week—Default day of the week on which a train created from a train schedule set up using this train schedule definition is due to arrive at the first route point.
   • Train Template—Train template used to define the train structure and intended route of any train created from a train schedule set up using this train schedule definition. Select from the train templates defined on the Transport panel of the Solution Explorer.

   Note: The Quantity is not used during train creation and can be left as 0.

6. Click Save.
