Set up a Transport Event Template

Security Note: Depending on the transport type, you need the applicable security right:
• Allow train maintenance in the Trains domain security rights group
• Allow truck despatch maintenance in the Trucks domain security rights group
• Allow barge maintenance in the Barges domain security rights group
• Allow shipment maintenance in the Shipments domain security rights group

Activity Steps

1. Open the Train Transport Events, Truck Transport Events, Barge Transport Events or Shipment Transport Events screen.
2. Right-click in the Templates table and select New from the menu.
3. Update the transport Event template name if required.
4. Select whether to Force Sequential Entry. If checked, dates and times for each event must be in sequence when entering data in the despatch.
5. For each transport event in the Template Events table, select whether to Include the transport event in the template.
6. Click Save.
