Create a Contributor Statement for a Despatch

This activity is not applicable to service trips or lot despatches.

Whether contributor statement data is used in despatch order snapshots and invoicing is controlled by invoicing settings on the Sales and Marketing tab of the Options screen.

Security Note: You need the Allow contributors maintenance security right in the Contributors user group security rights group right for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Train, Truck Despatch or Shipment.
2. Select the Contributor Statement tab, or for a shipment, the Contributor Statement sub-tab of the State tab.
3. Select the Date Creation Method, which is the date used to determine when the contributor statement is taken. Select from:
   • Actual Date
   • ATD At Origin
   • ETD At Origin
   • ATA At Destination
   • End Loading Date
   • End Unloading Date
   • Fixed Date
4. If the Date Creation Method is Fixed Date, enter the Contributor Statement Date.
5. Click Calculate.
6. To view the contributions for the contributor statement:
   1. Select the Contributors sub-tab.
   2. Select the Contributor Group for which to view the contribution.

      Note: If there are unassigned contributors, these are included in the contributor statement. The warning "[Despatch type] may contain unassigned contributors. (name of contributor group)" displays (in red) below the shipment Status field.

7. To override the contributor values for the contributor statement:
   1. Select a contributor from the contributor group.
   2. Perform one of the following steps:
      1. Update the Percentage of the contribution.

         MineMarket updates the Quantity.

      2. Update the Quantity of the contribution.

         MineMarket updates the Percentage.

   3. Ensure that the contributor percentages add up to 100%.
   4. Update the Value for each contributor analyte as required.

      MineMarket updates the Analyte Percentage and Analyte Content.

      The value does not display if the analyte's Value Source is Specifications.

8. To add a new contributor:
   1. Right-click and select New and the required contributor from the menu.
   2. Enter the Percentage of the contribution.
   3. Adjust the percentages of the other contributors so that the total is 100%.
   4. Enter the Value of each contributor analyte.
9. To redistribute unassigned contributors:
   1. Check Selected for the contributors to which the unassigned contributors should be distributed.
   2. Right-click and select Redistribute Unassigned Contributors from the menu.

      Contributors with a higher value receive a bigger proportion of the unassigned tonnage. MineMarket uses following formula to distribute the unassigned tonnage.

      New Contributor Tonnage = Old Contributor Tonnage * ( 1 + Unassigned Contributor Tonnage / Total Assigned Tonnage )

10. To view analyte contributions, select the Analytes tab.
11. To display the values as per the logistics stored in the despatch order, without resetting edited values, check Show Original Values.

    You can only edit the contributor values when Show Original Values is unchecked.

12. To restore the values as per the logistics stored for the despatch order, click Calculate again.
13. To clear the contributions for the contributor statement, click Clear.
14. Click Save.
