Contracts

A contract is the core element of the commercial operations because it contains all the information that has been agreed between the parties in the contract negotiation.

In the contract, all the terms that have incidence in the valuation of the operation, as well as those referred to amounts, quality and terms of payment, among many others, are stipulated.

In MineMarket, contracts administer the information regarding agreed terms for each commercial contract, establishing the commercial and legal conditions of the operation. These conditions are the base element for invoicing that totally or partially closes the cycle of a purchase or a sale.

A contract is required to set up despatch orders for trains, truck despatches, service trips or shipments. One contract can be related to many despatches. That is, more than one despatch may be required to ship a product for a contract.

Contracts can also be optionally grouped under contract categories. A typical contract category may be based upon the year. Multiple contract categories are allowed. For example, a large company may wish to structure contracts first by contract year and then by commodity.

Limit the Organisations, Contracts and Despatch Orders to Only Those That Belong to Specific Organisations

Domains can be used to limit the objects that can be seen by a user. Using this functionality, specific organisations can be made viewable, and all other organisations non-viewable for a particular domain. The domain is then assigned to a particular user group. When a user who is a member of that user group views organisations, contracts and despatch orders, only those that belong to the viewable organisations and contract categories can be seen. See Domains.
