Enter Recovery Rates for Analytes

Security Note: To view recovery rates, you need the Allow the user to view the base data, market data and scripting security right in the Menu user group security rights group. To enter recovery rates, you also need the Allow the user to edit recovery rates security right in the Base Data user group security rights group.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Recovery Rate Editor.
  2. To view recovery rates:
    1. Select the Start Date and End Date.
    2. Click Search.
  3. To enter a recovery rate:
    1. Right-click in the Recovery Rates table and select New from the menu.
    2. Complete the following fields.
      • Analyte Definition—Select from the analytes defined on the Quality panel of the Solution Explorer.
      • Description
      • Date Period—The start date for the recovery rate. If a new recovery rate is entered for the same analyte and district, the Date Period that is the start date of the new recovery rate will become the end date for the previous recovery rate. The most recent recovery rate is open ended.
      • Recovery Rate Basis—Select from:
        • Accountable—The gain is calculated as:
          (Contractual Payable Amount * Recovery Rate) – Contractual Payable Amount

          If the recovery rate for Accountable basis is 100%, the gain will be zero.

        • Content—The gain is calculated as:
          (Weight * Grade * Recovery Rate) – Contractual Payable Amount
      • District—Select from the districts defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer.
      • Rate %—Recovery rate for the analyte, expressed as a percentage.
  4. Click Save.
