Sales Invoices

Sales invoices are raised when the seller is an internal company and the buyer is another district or an external organisation.

A sales invoice is called a credit note if its total value is less than the total value of the previously issued invoice. (However, this does not apply if the previous invoice is a proforma, prepayment, accrual or non-commercial invoice.)

Sales invoices can include Despatch Orders or open actions (see Repurchase Contracts), but not both.
