Set up a User Group
Security Note: You need the Allow user maintenance security right in the Security user group security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
- Expand the Security node.
- Right-click the User Groups node and select New User Group from the menu.
The User Group displays.
- Update the name of the user group node if required.
- Select the Domains tab.
- Expand the Security » Domains node.
- Drag a domain from the Domains node into the Assign Domains field group.
Note: Users can create local groups, but can modify only the local groups that they created.
- Select a Task Pane Template if a task pane template is to be defined to customise the task pane for the user group.
- Select Refresh Taskpane to allow an administrator to refresh the task pane to the default task pane when a user logs back in.
- Click Save.
