Set up a User Group

Security Note: You need the Allow user maintenance security right in the Security user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
  2. Expand the Security node.
  3. Right-click the User Groups node and select New User Group from the menu.

    The User Group displays.

  4. Update the name of the user group node if required.
  5. Select the Domains tab.
  6. Expand the Security » Domains node.
  7. Drag a domain from the Domains node into the Assign Domains field group.

    Note: Users can create local groups, but can modify only the local groups that they created.

  8. Select a Task Pane Template if a task pane template is to be defined to customise the task pane for the user group.
  9. Select Refresh Taskpane to allow an administrator to refresh the task pane to the default task pane when a user logs back in.
  10. Click Save.
