Set up Unit Conversion Factors

MineMarket has default conversion factors for all default Units of Measure (UOMs). You must set up conversion factors if you create mass UOMs. You can modify conversion factors if non-standard conversion factors are required for your contracts.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain units of measure security right in the Base Data user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Unit Conversion Editor.
2. Select the UOM category.
3. Select the unit in the Units table.
4. Enter or update the conversion factors in the Conversion Factors table.

   Note: MineMarket updates the reverse conversion factors. For example, if you edit the conversion factor from pounds to kilograms, MineMarket updates the conversion factor from kilograms to pounds.

5. Click Save
