Set up an Historical Data Set Template Category

Historical data set templates must belong to an historical data set template category or sub-category.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain the configuration of historical data security right in the Base Data user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Historical Data node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level historical data set template category, right-click the Historical Set Configuration Categories node and select New » Configuration Category from the menu.
   2. To set up an historical data set template sub-category, right-click a historical data set template category and select New » Configuration Category from the menu.
4. Update the name of the historical data set template category node if required.
5. Click Save.
