Configure a Message Schema

Activity Steps

1. On the toolbar, click New Message Schema.

   A message schema is added to the Integration » Message Schemas node in the Configuration Explorer.

2. Double-click the message schema node.

   The Message Schema screen displays.

3. Enter the Message Schema Name.

   For individual message schemas, the name must match the value of the targetNamespace attribute in the XSD code of the schema.

   For message schemas in a message schema group, the default name is the filename of the imported XSD; however, the name can be updated if required.

4. For message schemas not in a message schema group, link the message schema to subscribers:
   1. Click the ellipsis (...) next to Subscribers.

      The Subscriber Selector screen displays.

   2. Select the subscribers.
   3. Click Close.
5. Enter the schema XSD code into the Schema editor.

   XSDs can be manually added to the editor or can be copied and pasted from another XML schema editor; for example, XML Spy.

6. Click Save.
