AUR Adaptor Data Entry
Date and Time Formats
The following formats can be used for date and time data in the CSV files:
- dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm:ss
- dd/MMM/yyyy HH:mm:ss
- dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm:ss
- dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss
- dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm
- dd/MM/yyyy H:mm
- dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm
- dd/MM/yy hh:mm:ss
- dd/MM/yy hh:mm
- d/MM/yyyy H:mm
Important: Even on machines with different system settings; for example, EN-US, use the day-before-month formats.
Mandatory and Optional Columns
Apart from the optional column groups (see below), all column headers are mandatory, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the AUR adaptor class description. Therefore, include every column header in the CSV files, even if the data for the column is optional. For optional data, leave the cell blank in the data rows.
Optional Column Groups
Some groups of columns are optional in the CSV files. Precede optional columns with a group separator. Group separator names are enclosed in square brackets; for example, [Analyte]. If viewing the CSV file in a spreadsheet, the cells under the group separator name are empty. See the examples in the description of each adaptor class for information about optional column groups.
If there are multiple optional column groups in an adaptor class, the groups can be in any order in the CSV file. However, for each group, the group separator must be before the other columns in the group.
