Dashboard
Minemax Software Manager's dashboard contains a list of installed and downloadable Minemax Software and a list of the latest Minemax news articles.
List of Minemax Software
A list of installed and downloadable Minemax Software appears on the left side of the dashboard. Installed Minemax Software appear at the top of the list followed by trialable/free demo and viewer versions of Minemax Software. Click Refresh, at the top of the list, to refresh the status of each product.
Launching Minemax Software
To open Minemax Software, simply click the corresponding Run button.
Choosing editions and modules
If multiple licenses for varying editions or modules are detected, the user can choose which edition and/or modules to open. Select the edition and/or modules to open before clicking Run.
Start Menu Shortcuts
Any start menu shortcuts created during the deployment of Minemax Software appear below the name of the installed product. Click on the icons to open the shortcuts.
New Releases of Minemax Software
Download Releases
New releases of Minemax Software are automatically downloaded if the allow background downloads of software updates option is enabled. If this option is disabled and a new release is available, Download and What's New buttons appear under the product title.
- Click Download to begin downloading the new release.
- Click What's New to view what has changed in the new release.
- To cancel a download, click Download a second time.
Install Releases
Once the new release's installer has been downloaded, the Download button switches to an Install button. To install the new release, click Install to launch the installer and follow the on screen instructions.
Latest Minemax News
The latest Minemax news articles are displayed in the list on the right side of the dashboard. Clicking on the title of the article loads the full article in the default web browser.
An internet connection must be established before news articles can be read.
To refresh the list of articles, click Refresh.
