Licensing

The LICENSING window is used to view and manage Minemax Software licenses.

All available Minemax Software license keys (local and remote) are displayed in the license key dropdown. If a license key does not appear in the dropdown, ensure the dongle is attached to the computer and click Refresh.

To view the licenses associated with a license key, select the key from the dropdown and review the products table. The products table lists the name of the licensed Minemax Software and the maintenance expiry date.

Properties of the selected license key are:

  • key typeHL Key (dongle) or SL Key (product key)
  • location—The license is located on a local or remote machine.
  • rehostable—If true, the license can be transferred to another machine.
  • parent key —Network license ID. Only visible when a network license has been detached to the local machine..
  • KEY DISABLED—Shown when a key has been disabled due to tampering or cloning. Click on the Create C2V button to generate a .c2v file which can be sent to Minemax Support to reactivate the license.
