View the system status

The System Status screen shows the status of the application modules that keep Production Accounting operating normally. It is important to check this screen when you troubleshoot system issues. When the system operates normally, all applications have the status Running and are highlighted green. Applications with the status Startup Failed that are highlighted red must be reported to your local IT Support or Datamine Support.

Note: The application list may include modules with the status Not started that are highlighted blue. Some application modules are optional. Optional modules that are not running do not affect the performance of the Production Accounting system.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the System Status screen.
  2. Review the following status information:
    • Application—The application module name. These are the modules (or 'sub-applications') that comprise the Production Accounting application architecture.
    • Version—The application version.
    • Status—The current application status. The status can be:
      • Running (green)
      • Not started (blue)
      • Stopped (yellow)—Indicates that the application was manually stopped.
      • Startup Failed (red)—Applications with this status need to be reported to your local IT Support or Datamine Support.
    • Actions—Actions available for this application. Depending on the status, available actions may include Start, Stop or Restart.

Note: Unless Datamine Support has instructed you to change the state of an application, you should not need to start stopped applications from the System Status screen.

    • Startup Duration—How long the application took to start up.

A System Status summary underneath the list of applications shows more information about the system environment. These details may be useful for troubleshooting.
