View logsheet data (modern)

Note: See Modern logsheets for tips and general guidance for the modern logsheet interface.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the required Data Entry Logsheet screen.
  2. Select the date range:
    1. In the Start Date - End Date field, click the calendar icon. Calendar icon (modern)
    2. Select a date range.
    3. Click Apply.

Note: Mapped Start Date & Time and Mapped End Date & Time are read-only fields that display the show the actual start and end of the selected date range.

Note: A logsheet can display up to 100 rows of data. If your selected date range exceeds this limit, only the first 100 rows display.

The logsheet data for the selected date range displays. All sections and subsections display by default.

  3. Select sections and subsections to display:
    1. Click the Section / Subsection field to open the list.
    2. Expand a section to show its subsections.
    3. Select or deselect the check boxes as required.
    4. Click outside the list to apply your changes.

The logsheet refreshes to display your selection.

The modern logsheet interface generally includes:

    • Sections—Group the data for specific processes, circuits or equipment; for example, feeds, grinding, concentrators, tanks.
    • Subsections—Group the data within processes, circuits, or equipment. Some sections have multiple subsections. For example, a logsheet section for a flotation feed may have subsections for mass and each assay measured.
    • Items—The specific items in each subsection for which data is recorded. Examples include tonnage values; moisture and assay values from various sources (like an integrated LIMS, DCS or manual override); and feed or equipment run times, throughput rates or down times. The relevant unit displays for each item; for example, %, ppm, t, g/t, h.
    • Log Time—The date and time for which the data was recorded. All logsheet data is stored against the beginning of the period. For example, if a twelve-hour shift starts at 07:00:00 and ends at 18:59:59, all data for the shift is timestamped with 07:00:00.
    • Data cells—Hold the values for each subsection item.
      • Read-only cells display data acquired from integrated systems, other logsheets, or calculated values that cannot be edited. These cells are greyed out (unless system accessibility settings override browser colours) and display a 'not-allowed' cursor on hover. Not allowed cursor icon for read-only cells
      • Data entry cells are editable and display a data entry pop-up window when clicked. These cells are white (unless system accessibility settings override browser colours) and display a pointer cursor on hover. Hand pointer cursor for data entry cells
  4. To view the calculation history for a value, click the calculator icon. Calculation Tracer icon (modern) See Calculation Traces for more information.
  5. To view the audit history for a value:
    1. Click the audit icon next to the value. Audit icon (modern)

The Audit Log pop-up displays with the Audit filter applied. Audit information for previous changes to the value displays, including the:

      • User who made the change
      • Date and time of the change
      • Type of change
      • Value
      • Audit comment (if applicable)
    2. Click the Rejected filter if it has a number.

Information for rejected changes displays, including the:

      • User who attempted the change
      • Date and time of the attempted change
      • Rejected value
      • Audit comment attached to the rejected value (if applicable)
      • User who rejected the change (via the Data Quarantine process)
      • Quarantine rejection comment (if applicable)
  6. To view information for a quarantined value, click the quarantine icon next to the value or in a blank cell. Quarantine icon (modern)

The Audit Log pop-up displays with the Quarantine filter applied. Quarantine information displays, including the:

    • User who attempted the change
    • Date and time of the attempted change
    • Type of change
    • Quarantined value
    • Audit comment (if applicable)

Note: Logsheets display the value that is currently 'in use' for a data item. If a value is changed after a logsheet is 'locked', the system holds the updated value for review by a user with quarantine approval permissions. See Data Quarantine. If a cell is blank but displays a quarantine icon, this means that the cell originally had no data but a value was entered after the lock was applied. This is expected behaviour.

View logsheet data (legacy)

Note: See Legacy logsheets for tips and general guidance for the legacy logsheet interface.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the required Data Entry Logsheet screen.
  2. Select the date or time period using the Year, Month and Day fields.
  3. Select the Shift if required.

Note: Use the arrow buttons to select the previous or next period. Date selector previous period button Date selector next period button

  4. Click Submit.

The logsheet data for the selected shift or time period displays.

The legacy logsheet interface generally includes:

    • Sections—Group the data for specific processes, circuits or equipment; for example, feeds, grinding, concentrators, tanks. When a logsheet has multiple sections, they display as a vertical list. The first section in the list is selected by default when the screen loads.
    • Subsections—Group the data within processes, circuits, or equipment. Some sections have multiple subsections. For example, a logsheet section for a flotation feed may have subsections for mass and each assay measured.
    • Subsection items—The specific items for which data is recorded. Examples include tonnage values; moisture and assay values from various sources (like an integrated LIMS, DCS or manual override); and feed or equipment run times, throughput rates or down times. The relevant unit or symbol displays for each item; for example, %, ppm, t, g/t, h.
    • Data cells—Hold the values for each subsection item. Read-only cells show data acquired from integrated systems, other logsheets, or calculated values that cannot be edited. Editable cells have a data entry field.

Note: Icons may display next to data values.

Calculation Tracer icon (legacy) The calculator icon is for the Calculation Tracer, used to view the inputs and calculation paths for that data value. See Calculation Traces.

Audit icon (legacy) The audit icon displays next to data values for which an audit history is available. Hover on the icon to display the audit information.

The quarantine icon displays if the data value is quarantined. See Data Quarantine.

    • Log Time—The date and time for which the data was recorded. All logsheet data is stored against the beginning of the period. For example, if a twelve-hour shift starts at 07:00:00 and ends at 18:59:59, all logsheet data for the shift is timestamped with 07:00:00.
  5. If required, select another logsheet section from the list to view its data.

Note: For some logsheets, the list of sections is long. When you select a section, its subsections, items and data cells may display centre-aligned to the vertical mid-point of the list. You may need to scroll up or down to find them.
