Export data with the Discrete Unit Data Extractor

Note: To access and use the Discrete Unit Data Extractor, your computer must be on the same network as the Production Accounting Database Server.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Discrete Unit Data Extractor file from its saved location.
2. Select the Control worksheet tab.

   Note: If the Production Accounting configuration has changed, click Refresh Lists to update the list of discrete unit staging sets that can be selected for export.

3. Select the Environment from which to extract data.
4. Select a discrete unit Staging Set.
5. To define a date range, enter the Start Date (>=) and End Date (<).
6. Click Export.

   The data is extracted and displays on the ExportedData worksheet.

   Note: To extract data from another staging set, repeat steps 2-6. Each time you export, the data on the ExportedData worksheet is replaced. Copy data you want to preserve to another sheet or file before you export again.
