Reset a data authorisation process

You can reset a data authorisation process back to the first stage in its workflow.

Authorisation processes can be configured to automatically reset if their data is affected by items released from quarantine. If automatic reset has not been configured, you can manually reset a process.

This activity describes how to manually reset active and completed authorisation processes.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the required Authorise screen.
  2. If the authorisation process you want to reset is complete, it may not display in the list. To display it:
    1. Select Show Completed Processes.
    2. Click Refresh.
  3. Find the required authorisation process in the list.

    Note: Use the navigation links below the list to move between pages or enter a numeric date search term in the Quick Search box and click Search.

  4. In the Administer column, click the reset icon. Reset icon

    The screen reloads. After a reset, the authorisation process Status is usually Initialise. Within a short time (seconds to minutes depending on what calculations are currently running), the server processes the changes.

  5. Click Refresh.

    The Approve link displays in the Actions column for the reset process.
