View data authorisation processes for a period

Activity Steps

  1. Open the required Authorise screen.

Authorise screens have a list of data authorisation processes for the selected period, with status information and applicable actions and functions for each process. If authorisation is done regularly, only a few processes may be in the list.

For each process, the following information displays:

    • Description—The process name (includes the date or time period).
    • Status—Current status of the process. Each coloured circle icon represents a stage in the process. Green indicates a completed stage. Orange represents the current stage, and the name of this stage displays under the graphic. Blue indicates future (pending) stages. Hover your mouse over a circle icon to see which stage it represents.
    • ActionsLinks to related screens, including the Approve and Block screens. If a process is completed or archived, this column is blank.
    • Administer—Icons for various functions to administer the process. For active processes (depending on user permissions), this column generally includes Retest, Archive, Reset and Delete. For completed and archived processes, the available icons change.
    • View—Link to View Log. Loads an audit log for the process, including user comments. The log displays below the list. You may need to scroll down to view it.
  2. To find a specific process or to filter the list, enter search criteria in the Quick Search box and click Search.

Note: Numeric date search terms are recommended. For example, to find all day processes for the month of June 2024, enter 2024-06, or to find all month processes for the year 2024, enter 2024. If the system cannot parse the search term as a date, it attempts to search by text and may return results based on the process description or other meta data. For example, June 2024 or 2024 June may return the expected results.

  3. By default, the list displays a maximum of ten processes per page. Use the navigation links below the list to move between pages.
  4. By default, the list shows active processes for the selected period only. To view archived or completed processes:
    1. Select Show Archived Processes if required.
    2. Select Show Completed Processes if required.
    3. Click Refresh.

The list refreshes. Archived processes display their status with red text and red lines connecting the stages. Completed processes display their status with all text and stage icons green.
