Data Upload
Custom Microsoft Excel-based tools called 'data uploaders' are used to upload data to Production Accounting. Datamine consultants customise the data uploaders and associated integration adaptors for your site's specific Production Accounting configuration. Multiple data uploaders may be required; for example, files customised for logsheet data, discrete unit data, and budget and forecast data. Data uploads are processed via the IMS Integration Hub.
Note: IMS Integration Hub documentation is available at https://docs.dataminesoftware.com/MineMarket/Latest/Y-IH-User-Guide/IMS-Integration-Hub-Help.htm. Detailed guidance for Production Accounting integration is outside of its scope. For help with Production Accounting and IMS Integration Hub, including data uploads, contact your Datamine consultant.
Users in all Production Accounting Active Directory (AD) groups can access and use the data uploaders, provided they are on the same network as the Production Accounting database server.
Note: When your Production Accounting system is upgraded or the configuration changes, the data uploaders may need to be updated.
Logsheet Data Uploads
Most logsheet data is acquired automatically by integration with other systems; for example, a LIMS or DCS. If required, you can upload data to from other sources with a custom tool called the Logsheet Data Uploader.
A standard Logsheet Data Uploader file is provided with all Production Accounting configurations. The standard Logsheet Data Uploader can be used to upload data to any logsheet(s).
Datamine consultants can make additional customisations to the Logsheet Data Uploader if required. If custom logsheet data uploaders were supplied during your implementation, refer to site-specific documentation for how to use them.
Discrete Unit Data Uploads
The Production Accounting discrete unit data interfaces are configured to allow the upload of data to transaction grids.
In some scenarios, a specific uploader template is not required. Instead, the Production Accounting environment includes a custom-built integration adaptor designed to receive data based on a file format you already use.
For some data uploads, you must use a Discrete Unit Data Uploader template provided by your Datamine consultant.
If custom discrete unit data uploaders or integration adaptors were supplied during your implementation, refer to site-specific documentation for how to use them.
