View an analytics dashboard

Analytics dashboards provide interactive views of your live Production Accounting data. They present calculated metrics, trends and operational summaries using charts, graphs, tables and other visuals. Dashboards are usually located under Reports on the primary menu and have custom menu item and screen names; for example, Daily Production Dashboard.

Note: Datamine consultants configure your site's dashboards during an initial Production Accounting implementation or upgrade. You can interact with a dashboard, but cannot edit its configuration.

Activity Steps

1. Open the required Analytics Dashboard screen.

   The selected dashboard displays. Dashboard layouts vary based on their specific configuration but may include one or more 'components', such as charts, graphs or tables.

2. Select date parameters:
   1. Click the date selector.
   2. Select a date on the calendar.

      The calendar closes and the dashboard refreshes to display data for the selected date.

3. Click on a dashboard component to select it.
4. Use the component's interactive features to view and analyse data. Depending on the component type and configuration, you may be able to interact in the following ways:
   • Hover on a data point, bar or line to view details.
   • Click elements in the component to hide, show or drill-down into specific data.
   • Maximise or minimise the component with the arrow icons in the top-right corner.
   • Hover on the filter icon to see (read-only) filters applied to the component.
