This section describes the administration functions for customising the user interface. This sub-set of administration functions are generally only used by Datamine consultants during your site's Production Accounting configuration.

Portal Layout

The Portal Layout is used to manage the Production Accounting application modules, including the layout for each logsheet screen (including Admin modules) and the position of logsheets within the menu. The Portal Layout includes the ability to add a new menu item with a logsheet.

Datamine administers changes to the portal layout configuration if needed.

DAL Admin

The Data Abstraction Layer (DAL) Administrator is used to make database tables and views available through the Production Accounting user interface (UI).

DAL Rendering

The DAL Rendering module allows the customisation of tables in the data abstraction layer (DAL). Datamine customises discrete unit data entry screens through this interface.
