Browser navigation
Like in other web applications, you can open Production Accounting screens in multiple browser tabs or windows.
To open a screen in another browser tab or window:
- Hover your mouse over the primary menu item.
- Right-click the sub-menu item.
- Select Open link in new tab or Open link in new window.
You can navigate with your browser in the following scenarios.
- Use your browser's Back button only if you have opened a screen that is linked from a data authorisation process. For example, if you clicked the Approve link but do not want to approve or reject the data, or if you clicked Block to view the details of a blocked process. Otherwise, navigate using the primary and sub-menus.
- To reload or refresh a screen, only use your browser's Refresh button if the Production Accounting application screen does not include that functionality. On logsheet screens, press Submit in the Select Date section at the top to refresh. On discrete unit transaction data entry screens, press Load Grid. Some other screens include a Refresh button in their user interface.
Note: Unsaved data will be lost if you refresh.
