Data Approval

With the Data Approval module, you can endorse a specific period of data for a location, effectively preventing any further changes to that data. This feature allows you to generate reproducible reports at any point in the future.

Data Approval configurations are constructed from compositions of configurations, represented as views saved from all analysis modules except Dashboard and Data Approval. To be eligible for selection within Data Approval, a module configuration must be flagged as global and locked. These properties can be adjusted either through the menu adjacent to a configuration's title or using the Analysis Configurations screen.

Select the period and location for the approval. Please note that the location MUST be set, it cannot be ALL or Unknown for the Data Approval module to return data.

There are some approval quick links that can be used, or the approval periods (only one approval period can be selected at a time).

Data Approval period

When all data is ready to be approved, there is an opportunity to add a comment before the Approve or Bulk Approve process is initiated. This is in the bottom left corner of the Data Approval screen. The data will be approved for the period applied in the top filter bar.
