Entity Types in the Pivot View
In the Pivot View, the Entity Type dimension shows the type of entity associated with each metric. Entity types reflect where the material comes from (source entity) or where it moves to (destination entity) within the mine value chain.
- Source Entity Type – Refers to where material originates, such as a model cell, mining block or stockpile.
- Destination Entity Type – Refers to where material is delivered, such as a stockpile, plant or customer.
Use the Entity Type filter when you want to restrict a pivot view query to a specific part of the value chain; for example, only stockpiles, only mining blocks, only plants.

Note: Use the Entity Type filter when you need to focus your query on a specific object type (for example, stockpiles only, or mining blocks only), or when you want to understand how material moves between different types of entities in the value chain.
