View Grade Block

The Grade Block screen is divided into three sections:

  • Information
  • Model Comparison
  • Mining Activity

The Mining Activity Measure option at the top of the screen , further divides the data into Wet Tonnes, Dry Tonnes or Volume.

The Grade Block screen provides a complete overview of the attributes for one block, the model comparison data for that one block and the mining activity undertaken on that block. It is easy to identify if a block has been under or over depleted on the Mining Activity chart and table.

The models listed in the Model Comparison Table include all available model types in Reconcilor. The total % of block for each model always equals 100% but may be grouped by material type or lithology type.

Block Information

The information section of the view blocks screen provides the full location hierarchy, any known alternative name, the date mining commenced (this will be blank if mining has not commenced), material type, lithology type and the data calculations for the total, hauled and survey tonnes.

The following calculations were used for the tonnes data:

  • Design Wet tonnes = Design wet tonnes of block
  • Hauled wet tonnes = truck tonnes
  • Survey depletion = total survey depleted volume * block density
  • % Mined (Haulage) = (Design tonnes – hauled tonnes)/Design tonnes) *100
  • % Mined (Survey) = (Design tonnes – survey depletion)/Design tonnes) * 100
