Reconcilor System Requirements
Reconcilor is a HTML5 web application and requires a web browser on the client computer or tablet.
No other software is required on the client PC.
Important: System specifications and disk space requirements depend on anticipated data volumes and growth. Datamine recommends a scoping study to determine exact requirements. Testing or training environments must not be set up on the same server as the production environment, in order to reduce the load on the production server and isolate it from potential issues in other environments. For high-availability solutions additional hardware is required. This should be discussed with your Datamine representatives during the implementation study / budgeting phase.
Reconcilor is designed with several components, outlined in the image and sections below.
Application Server
Web Server – With a web-based user interface, the single Reconcilor instance is available to all domain users and avoids the need to install client software. User authentication is performed through Windows Active Directory.
Reconcilor Engine – The Reconcilor Engine is a Windows service that implements much of the Reconcilor core logic. It is responsible for the following processes:
- Importing data from source systems
- Data validation and health checks
- Calculation of stockpile balances, material flows and comparison values
- Updates to the Reconcilor reporting cubes.

Database Server
Reconcilor Database – Reconcilor stores all data within a standard Microsoft SQL Server database.
Staging Data (within Reconcilor database) – In some cases, it may be necessary to perform additional data preparation steps before data is suitable for import into Reconcilor. These steps may include:
- Validating and combining data from two or more sources.
- Allowing users to manually enter data that is not available through other systems.
The staging data can also be used as means of supplementing the Reconcilor database with any additional data required to meet site specific reporting requirements.

Source Systems
File sources – Reconcilor supports direct import of data from correctly structured CSV or Excel files.
Databases – Querying of data from any OLEDB compliant database is possible.
Web Services – With additional configuration, Reconcilor can capture data from custom web services and other interfaces (APIs).
