Work with Charts

Chart Data

Most charts support interaction with the visualised data.

Use the following mouse controls to interact with a chart:

  • Hover over data points, values and chart elements (such as lines and bars) to view additional information.
  • Hover over an axis until the cursor changes to a double-ended arrow, then click and drag to pan vertically or horizontally.
  • Hover over the chart area until the cursor changes to a crosshair, then click and drag to select a region to zoom in.
  • Double-click to zoom out.

The chart controls toolbar includes additional options. See Chart Controls below.

Chart Legends

Some chart legends are static, while others are interactive. When you hover your mouse over an interactive legend, the cursor changes to a pointer.

You can click an interactive legend item to show or hide the corresponding data on the chart. Double-click a legend item to isolate it, hiding all other data. Hidden items display in the legend with muted colours and greyed out text.

In the example interactive legend below, the COS WetTonnes and Adjustments data is hidden on the chart.
