Save a Configuration
Activity Steps
- Open a screen that allows saved configurations.
Note: See Saved Configurations for a list of applicable screens.
The default configuration displays.
- Apply your preferred filters, select metrics, and arrange columns and dimensions as required. As you make changes, an Edited alert displays next to the configuration name.
Note: See the help activities for each screen for detailed configuration steps.
- Click the ellipsis icon (...) next to the configuration name and select Save As from the menu.
- Enter the configuration Name. Use clear, descriptive names for your configurations so you (and other users) can find them easily. Names must be unique per screen. If you try to save a configuration with a duplicate name, an error message displays.
- Select whether the Visibility is:
- Private – Available only to you.
- Global – Shared with all Reconcilor users for your site.
Security Note: To save a configuration as Global, you need the Publish role permission for this screen.
- Select whether the configuration is Locked:
- Locked – Used in the Data Approval module to approve data and cannot be edited.
- Unlocked – Can be edited.
- Click Save.
The configuration displays in the Saved Configurations list for that screen and can be selected at any time.
