Add New Lithology Type

Use this activity to add a new lithology type on the Lithology Types Screen.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Lithology Types Screen.
2. Click Add Lithology Type.

   The Add Lithology Type form displays.

3. Complete the following fields as required:
   • Name – Enter the lithology type name. Mandatory.
   • Alternative Name – Enter the alternative name used in the external source system if required.
   • Abbreviation – Enter the abbreviation if required.
   • Group – Select from the list of groups defined on the Lithology Type Group Management Screen. Mandatory.
   • Colour – Select the colour to represent the lithology type in charts across Reconcilor. Use the colour picker or enter a Hex, RGBA or HSLA colour code. Click the arrow icons to toggle between the colour code options.

     Note: You can also manage colour assignments for lithology types on the Colour Configuration Screen. See Colours.

   • Order Number – Enter the display order number. This controls the order in dropdown filters and the order charts use when the x-axis or stacking is by lithology type. Mandatory.
   • Designation – Select from Ore and Waste. Mandatory.

     Note: If the lithology type falls in both categories, please notify your Datamine consultant or Datamine Support and select the option that encompasses the most lithology.

   • Status – Select from Active and Inactive. Mandatory.
4. Click Save.
