Lithology Type Validations

Validation messages can display in different scenarios when attempting to save or delete a lithology type.

Validation 1

If mandatory fields are not completed, a Required information is missing validation message displays in red text and the applicable field frames are highlighted in red.

Validation 2

If the lithology type name is the same as an existing lithology type, the save validation message displays.

Validation 3

While deleting a lithology type, if the lithology type is being referenced by other data, the validation message Unable to delete lithology type displays and the lithology type is not deleted.
