Material Type Group Validations

Validation messages can display in different scenarios when attempting to save or delete a material type group.

Validation 1

If mandatory fields are not completed, a Required information is missing validation message displays in red text and the applicable field frames are highlighted in red.

Validation 2

If the material type group name is the same as an existing material type group, the save validation message displays.

Validation 3

While deleting a material type group, if the material type group is being referenced by other data, the validation message Unable to delete material type group displays and the material type group is not deleted.
