Delete Material Type

Activity Steps

1. Open the Material Types Screen.
2. Find the material type in the list. See View and Filter Material Types.
3. Delete the material type using one of the following methods:
   1. Hover over a material type in the table and click the Delete icon.
   2. Click the hyperlinked Material Type Name to display its View Material Type form and then click Delete.
   3. Hover over a material type in the table; click the Edit icon to display its Edit Material Type form; and then click Delete.
4. Confirm the deletion.

   If the material type is being referenced by other data, the validation message Unable to delete material type displays and the material type is not deleted.
