Data Update Lock

The Data Update Lock is used to stop data imports from replacing live data prior to a specified date and shift.

The lock applies to the following data types:

• Model surveys
• Mine plans
• Haulage
• Control point transactions
• Stockpiles; including balances, adjustments and algorithms

Note: Any entities referenced by update lock data cannot be removed from the system.

To view Data Update Lock:

1. Open the Application Settings Screen.
2. Click the Data Update Lock hyperlink.

   The Data Update Lock screen displays.

   All settings display in view mode and cannot be edited. The settings are described in the editing activity below.

To edit Data Update Lock:

1. Open the Application Settings Screen.
2. Edit the settings using one of the following methods:
   1. Hover over the Data Update Lock row in the table and click the Edit icon.
   2. Open the Data Update Lock in view mode and then click Edit.

      The Data Update Lock screen displays in edit mode.

3. Select the Date/Shift before which imports cannot replace live data. Use the calendar picker to select the date, and the drop-down list to select the shift.
4. Click Save.
