To edit Spatial Polygon Group:

  1. Open the Application Settings Screen.
  2. Edit the settings using one of the following methods:

    2. Open the Spatial Polygon Group in view mode and then click Edit.

The Spatial Polygon Group form displays in edit mode.

  3. Specify polygon import settings:
    • Must Link To Entity – Controls validation. If checked, a polygon cannot be imported unless it matches a known entity; for example, a block in the system. If unchecked, the polygon import is allowed even if it is not matched.
    • Auto Close Polygon – The polygon is defined as a set of points, with a point for each corner. For example, you may have a square shape with corners A, B, C and D. The polygon is formed by drawing lines between the corners (A → B, B → C, C → D). If this setting is checked, the edge from the last corner back to the first (D → A) is also drawn. If unchecked, it is expected that another point (E) is also imported with coordinates that match point A.
  4. Click Save.
