Trends Analysis Settings
These settings define the maximum location level available in the location filters on the Trends Screen and the maximum date range allowed for each time scale.
To view Trends Analysis Settings:
- Open the Application Settings Screen.
- Click the Trends Analysis Settings hyperlink.
The Trends Analysis Settings form displays.
All settings display in view mode and cannot be edited. The settings are described in the editing activity below.
To edit Trends Analysis Settings:
- Open the Application Settings Screen.
- Edit the settings using one of the following methods:
- Hover over the Trends Analysis Settings row in the table and click the Edit icon.
- Open the Trends Analysis Settings in view mode and then click Edit.
The Trends Analysis Settings form displays in edit mode.
- Specify location level settings:
- Group by Filter Max Group Level – The maximum number of location levels available in the Group by field in the Configure Display panel on the Trends screen. For example, if you enter 5, users can group the data by any location down to 'block' (or level 5 in the location hierarchy).
- Location Picker Max Group Level – The maximum number of location hierarchy levels available in the Location filter at the top of the Trends screen.
- Specify date range settings to define how data is returned when users select Group by and Time Scale options on the Configure Display panel:
- Days – Maximum date range returned in days when Time Scale is Days.
- Months – Maximum date range returned in months when Time Scale is Months.
- Years – Maximum date range returned in years when Time Scale is Years.
- Quarters – Maximum date range returned in quarters when Time Scale is Quarters.
- Survey Period (Months) – Maximum date range in months when the Time Scale is Survey Period.
- Non-Time Grouping (Years) – Maximum date range in years when Group by is not Time; for example, options such as Metric, Category or Location are selected.
- Click Save.
