Data Issue Trends
Data Issue Trends summarises data issue counts over time for the selected period and location. Use it to identify whether issue volumes are increasing, decreasing, recurring or remaining stable as source data is corrected and re-imported.
The screen can display a chart, a table or both. The chart groups issue counts by time period and can stack them by Data Issue Sub Category or Data Issue Type. The table lists the corresponding Period, Data Issue Sub Category, Data Issue Type and Data Issue Count for the displayed results.
Data Health, View Issue Details, and Data Issue Trends
Data Health, the View Issue Details form, and Data Issue Trends support different levels of analysis.
- The Data Health Screen summarises the current issue status for each data category in the selected period and location.
- The View Data Issues form, opened from the Data Health Screen, shows the detailed issue records for one selected category and is used to inspect, suppress or reactivate specific issues.
- The Data Issue Trends Screen aggregates issue counts over time so you can analyse whether issue volumes are improving, worsening or persisting.
Interpreting Data Issue Trends
Use Data Issue Trends to compare issue volumes across days, months, or years, and to focus on all issues, active issues or suppressed issues. This helps distinguish short-term spikes from ongoing issues and measure whether corrective actions are reducing issue counts.
If you open Data Issue Trends from the Data Health Screen, the screen can open with a context based on the selected period, location and category.
