View and Filter Services

Use this activity to review service health on the Services screen.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Services Screen.

    The Services screen displays the list of background services and their current health information.

  2. Use the table controls to refine and review the service list as required. You can click the filter icon in a column heading to apply column-level filters.
    • Service Name – Identifies the background service.
    • Service State – Indicates the current operating state of the service:
      • Waiting – The service is waiting to begin processing.
      • Started – The service is running and available to process work.
      • Processing – The service is actively processing queued work.
      • Stopped – The service is not running and requires investigation.
    • Queue Count – Shows how many queued items are waiting to be processed.
    • Last Batch Size – Shows the size of the most recent batch processed by the service.
    • Processing Date – Shows the most recent date the service processed successfully.
    • Last Error Date – Shows the most recent date an error was recorded for the service.
  3. If required, click the Copy last error to clipboard icon on a service row to copy the most recent error details for support investigation.
  4. Click a service row to open the Details form.

    The Details form displays the selected service properties and, if available, the most recent error information.

  5. Review the service details as required:
    • In Properties, review values such as Queue Count, Last Batch Size, and Processing Date.
    • In Last Error, review the Message and Stack Trace information.
    • If required, click the Copy to clipboard icon to copy the last error details for support investigation.
  6. Click Close to return to the Services Screen.
