Export 3D Images

3D images can be exported from Sirovision for use in other applications.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Analysis menu.
2. Select Export from the Reports field group.

   The Export Wizard displays.

3. Select 3D Image.
4. Click Next.
5. Select the format to export the images as from the following options.
   • TIFF – Tagged Information Format File (TIFF) comprises a 3D surface texture image, a 3D wire frame, a 3D point cloud and metadata (otherwise known as SiroTIFF).
   • DXF – Data Exchange File format. 3D wireframe and 3D point cloud.
   • PLY – Stanford PLY format. Comprises a 3D surface texture image, a 3D wire frame and a 3D point cloud.
   • OBJ – Wavefront OBJ format. Comprises a 3D surface texture image, a 3D wire frame and a 3D point cloud.
   • PDF3D – Rotatable 3D images which can be embedded in to a PDF. Requires Adobe Reader Version 9 or above.
6. Select whether to Export All images or Export Individual Images.
   1. If exporting individual images, select which images to export. Selected images are highlighted in orange.
7. Select whether to Reduce Resolution of the image and spatial data.
   1. If reducing the resolution, enter the Factor.
8. Select the Destination Folder to export to by clicking the ellipsis (...).
9. Click Next.
10. Click Finish.
