Add and Configure a Text Annotation

Text annotations can be added to your 3D images to record comments and notes.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Mapping menu.
2. Select Text Annotation in the Annotation menu group.
3. Left-click the 3D image in the Image Viewer to plot the text annotation.
4. Change the annotation Text in the Properties Tab in the Details menu group.
5. Configure the following options as required.
   • Appearance field group:
     • Name – Name of the annotation in the Project Tree. This is not the annotation text that displays on the Main Canvas.
     • Colour – Annotation colour.
     • Font – Opens the Font window where you can adjust text font, style and size.
