Import Micromine Drillhole Collars
When importing drillhole data in Micromine format, this screen determines how collar fields and survey data are referenced, along with other general data decoding options.
This is the first of (a minimum of) two screens shown when importing Micromine data. After setting up general collar and survey information on this screen, the Drillhole Intervals screen is displayed, and can be used as many times as required to define log intervals.
All fields on this screen must be populated before continuing:
Activity steps

Using the Import Data screen, select the MicromineDriver Category and the DrillholeData Type.

Click OK.
The Micromine Outlines screen displays.

Specify the location of a drillhole Collar File, or Browse for a collar (.dat) file.

An attempt is made to automatically map expected data fields to data found in the incoming file.

Review the automatic mapping and adjust Hole, Easting, Northing, RL and Total Depth to an alternative field if required.

Set an Azimuth and Dip field (if these settings are to be used). Alternatively, a standalone survey file can be used by clicking Separate File to display the Surveys screen.

Select a Trace color. This will act as the default color for drillhole strings after import.

Select Markers to display the Drillhole Markers screen, used to determine how (or if) label annotations are implemented.

Select Labels to display the Labels screen, used to define which labels are shown, and their format.

Click OK.
- If importing a file to a Studio project, the Import Files screen displays.

Use the Import Files screen:

Choose which Files to create and associate with your project.

Confirm the Import Fields for this operation.

If required, choose how to Rename Fields during import.

Click OK.
Files references are added to the project.
