To access this dialog:

In the Grid Properties dialog, select the Templates tab.

This dialog is used to create, modify or load 3D display templates containing grid information. This makes it simple to quickly format your display grids to a standard format.

Once a grid template has been defined, you can select it using the Sheets control bar's context-sensitive menu (top-level Grids folder) and automatically create and configure a grid at the same time. |
One or more templates can be created here and you can also import and export grid template data.
Once a default grid template has been defined, you can set it as an "Initial state" for 3D windows. This is done using the Tools | Options dialog.
The functions on this panel are very similar to those found on other 3D properties dialog Templates panels and the documentation for these panels applies here also.
