Symbol Properties Dialog An explanation of fields and properties

 

To access this dialog use one of the following:

• Select Insert | Plot Item | Symbolfrom theManageribbon (Plotswindow displayed).

The Symbol Properties dialog is used to define the symbol type, size and color properties for a symbol plot item.

 

Field Details:

Symbol: select a symbol from the drop-down list:

Size: enter a size value (equivalent to a font size) or use the spin buttons to increment/decrement the value shown.

Color: select a color from the drop-down list.

Group: select a symbol group. If you have groups of symbols set up on your system, the displayed list will only display symbols belonging to the selected group. By default, the groups System and Features are generated.
