Description
Wireframe Linking Settings includes an option to utilize a 3D Solid linking method. This command can be run to enable this option, as an alternative to using the Wireframe Settings dialog (see previous link).
This method uses a proprietary linking algorithm that is particularly effective in the creation of bifurcated wireframes without the need for additional tag (guide) strings (other than, optionally, virtual ones), using the link-multiple-strings command - which can, in many cases, resolve the infamous trouser leg problem inherent to the design of underground development CAD data.
Note that if the 3D Solid linking method is enabled, this precludes the use of the Optimal Linking string linking control option (it does not apply to the 3D Solid method).
